FFA Gets First Place in State Land Use Contest

The Knoxville High School FFA received first place out of twelve schools at the 2006 Section 4 Land Use Contest held at Hans Block Farm in Maquon. They will be receiving a plaque from the State soon. There was also a Top Ten of the students who participated. Keegan Batson of Knoxville High School earned first place. Keegan will receive an individual plaque from the State for his first place spot. Other Knoxville Top Ten holders included Dylan Johnson at third and Greg Beardsley at ninth. Mark Ericson commented that he was very proud of this year’s FFA group and that they all did great jobs. Congratulations to all!
