KHS Winner of the Corn Belt Grant

Corn Belt Energy has announced that Knoxville High School has been selected to receive one of four 2009 Education Grants. Mrs. Gay Johnson, Curriculum Director at Knoxville School District 202, wrote and submitted the winning grant application. The grant of $1000 will fund a weather station system for the KHS science department.
Attached is a picture of Mrs. Gay Johnson receiving the 2009 Education Grant. In the picture is Principal Michael Kemmer and Science teacher Ms. Lori Ettinger.
